Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using Rainy ("the App", "Service", "We", "Us", or "Our").


Interpretation and Definitions

  • Company / We / Us / Our means Rainy.
  • You means the person using the App.
  • Service means the Rainy mobile application and related features.
  • Device means any phone or tablet You use to access the Service.
  • Terms means these Terms of Use.

Acknowledgement

These Terms govern Your use of Rainy. By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, You agree to these Terms and to Our Privacy Policy. If You do not agree, do not use the Service.

Our Privacy Policy explains how We collect and use information when You use the App. Please read it before using the Service.


Use of the Service

  • You may use Rainy for personal, non-commercial purposes in line with these Terms and applicable law.
  • Rainy is not directed at children under 18. If You are under 18, You may use the Service only with the involvement and permission of a parent or guardian.
  • You must not misuse the Service (for example by attempting to disrupt it, overload Our systems, copy or extract content in an automated or abusive way, or use it for unlawful purposes).
  • We may suspend or stop access if We reasonably believe You have violated these Terms or pose a risk to the Service or other users.

Availability and Location Limitations

  • Rainy is offered through app stores in many countries. We do not block users based on their country of access.
  • Weather and related data may not be available for every location or country. If forecasts or place search are unavailable for Your area, some features may not work or may show limited information.
  • The Service may change, be interrupted, or be withdrawn in whole or in part at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

Weather and Safety

  • Rainy provides weather and rain-related information for general information only.
  • Data may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Sources include third parties We do not control.
  • Rainy is not a substitute for official warnings, emergency services, or professional advice. For floods, storms, or other emergencies, always follow instructions from local authorities and official disaster agencies.

Content and Third-Party Material

  • Much of the content in the App (including maps, radar, satellite views, and government or partner websites) comes from third parties and is shown through the App or opened in Your browser.
  • We do not claim ownership of that third-party content and do not control it.
  • If You believe content shown in the App infringes Your rights, or should not appear, contact Us through the Contact Us page and We will review Your request.

Links to Other Websites

The Service may contain links to websites or services not operated by Us. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, terms, or availability. Your use of those sites is at Your own risk. Please read their terms and policies.


Advertising

  • The App displays third-party advertisements through Google’s advertising services.
  • Advertisers and ad networks are responsible for their own content and offers. We do not endorse every product or claim shown in an ad.

Privacy

Your use of the Service is also subject to Our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.


Intellectual Property

  • The Rainy app name, branding, and original App design belong to Us or Our licensors.
  • Third-party names, logos, and content remain the property of their respective owners.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend Your access immediately, without prior notice, if You breach these Terms or if We discontinue the Service. Upon termination, Your right to use the Service ends.


Disclaimer

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose.


Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, We and Our suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from Your use of or inability to use the Service, third-party content, or advertisements—even if We have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Where liability cannot be excluded, Our total liability to You for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount You paid to use the App in the twelve (12) months before the claim (or, if You paid nothing, a nominal amount permitted by law).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, Our liability is limited to the greatest extent allowed by law.


Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Kochi, Kerala, India.

Before starting formal proceedings, You agree to try to resolve any concern informally by contacting Us through the Contact Us page.


Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms in the App and on this page. Material changes may be communicated where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect means You accept the updated Terms. If You do not agree, stop using the Service.


Severability

If any part of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts remain in effect.


Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right under these Terms does not waive that right.


Language

If these Terms are translated, the English version prevails in case of conflict.
